What if I get an error while purchasing a subscription?

When a subscription is purchased within the app, it must be registered with our servers, so that your subscription can be extended appropriately.  There are rare instances where something may go wrong during the registration process (such as Apple’s verification system not responding).  If this happens, you must force the app to try to register the subscription again.  It’s simple:

  1. Shut down iReconcile.  Remember, in iOS 4, apps don’t get shut down, just “suspended” when you exit them.  You MUST shut it down for this to work (see this post for instructions on how to properly shut down the app).
  2. Simply restart iReconcile.
  3. Wait for a couple of minutes.  The OS will automatically begin the registration process again.

Note that ONLY restarting the app will force the system to attempt to register the subscription again.  You cannot do this manually from within the app.
